Why does Brutus’s speech in Scene ii ultimately fail?
Brutus's speech ultimately fails because he did not stand by what he was saying. He went against his word by talking bad about the people that were there for him. He got all the conspirators on his side in his plan to kill Caesar and now he is just turning his back on them when they never did that to him. Also Mark Antony spoke right after him so he was a lot more convincing and more people listened and believed what he had to say because his words were more intelligent.
